Travel to historic cities, fascinating stately homes, castles and gardens, and great annual events from the Cowes Regatta on the Isle of Wight to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Or just choose a leisurely champagne lunch or dinner excursion and enjoy freshly prepared gourmet cuisine whilst taking in the glorious landscapes unfolding outside your window.

Northern Belle

The Northern Belle is a luxurious restaurant on wheels departing from over 60 regional stations in the Midlands, West, Scotland and Wales to destinations like Edinburgh and the Royal Yacht Britannia, Alnwick Castle, booklovers paradise Hay-On-Wye and the RHS Tatton Flower Show.

Each meticulously crafted carriage is named after a castle or stately home and its furnishings and fittings are designed to reflect its namesake. The lavish menu created by Executive Chef Matthew Smith, offers quintessentially British dishes such as potted beef, slow roasted pork belly with black pudding mash and old English trifle. Relax with a glass of chilled champagne and watch the rugged, stunning countryside pass by on a Northern Belle daytrip to remember.

British Pullman

Departing from London Victoria, the British Pullman's distinctive cream and umber carriages pass along rural branch lines, through rolling green countryside to some of the best attractions in England.

Each of the eleven restaurant cars has its own fascinating history and beautifully restored decoration. Phoenix for example, was a favourite of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and was also used by General de Galle amongst other visiting heads of state. Perseus was used to transport important visitors such as former Russian Premier Nikita Kruschchev as well as being part of Winston Churchill's funeral train in 1965. Enjoy stunning cuisine and first class service whilst being transported to cities like Bath and Rochester, historical houses such as Chartwell and Blenheim Palace or events like the Glorious Goodwood Festival of Speed.
